Chelsea confirm deal for two players

Chelsea on Monday confirmed that academy goalkeeper, Kai Crampton has completed a permanent transfer to Bournemouth.

The Blues disclosed this in a statement via their website.

Crampton joined the Premier west London club through their development centre at Under-8 level.

He then progressed through the ranks at Cobham.

During the 2023/24 season, Crampton appeared for Chelsea’s Under-18 Premier League South-winning side.

He made four Under-18 appearances in the league and cup this season and featured twice for National League South side Hampton & Richmond on a matchday loan.

“We wish Kai all the best as he embarks on the next chapter of his career,” Chelsea’s statement partly read.

In a similar development, Chelsea also confirmed that defender Aniek Nouwen has penned a new contract extension with the club’s women team that will keep her at the club until the summer of 2026.

The 25-year-old star originally signed for the Blues back in 2021.

After signing her new contract, Dutch international said: “I am very grateful for this extension and the trust. I am looking forward to returning to action and continuing my journey.”
