Barau FC suspends Salisu Yusuf as Technical Adviser

Barau Football Club has announced the suspension of its Technical Adviser, Salisu Yusuf, with immediate effect.

The decision was disclosed in a statement signed by the club’s Media Officer, Ahmad Hamisu Gwale, on Wednesday.

The statement highlighted the management’s appreciation for Yusuf’s contributions, particularly during the 2024/2025 Nigerian National League (NNL) season, while also noting the need for a change in leadership.

“This decision was made following a management meeting where the efforts of Salisu Yusuf during his tenure were acknowledged,” the statement read.

“We thank him for his service to the club and wish him success in his future endeavors.”

In the interim, Chief Coach Rabi’u Tata has been appointed to take over as the club’s Technical Adviser, with his assistant supporting him in overseeing the team’s activities.
