Tinubu unveiling new Nigeria without making noise — Joe Igbokwe

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Joe Igbokwe, on Wednesday said President Bola Tinubu is restructuring Nigeria without making noise.

Igbokwe also stated that Tinubu is bringing justice to Nigerians and retooling the country without making noise.

Posting on his Facebook page, Igbokwe said: “PBAT is restructuring Nigeria without noise. PBAT is bringing justice to all Nigerians without noise. PBAT is repositioning Nigeria without noise.

“PBAT is unveiling a new Nigeria without noise. PBAT is retooling Nigeria without noise. It is what it is.”

In December 2024, the pan-Yoruba socio-political group Afenifere had charged Tinubu to ensure life is more abundant for all by prioritising and accelerating Nigeria’s political and economic development, with better, people-conscious economic reforms and fair and just political restructuring in 2025.

Afenifere called for more preventive and organisational guidelines on the part of the government to prevent future occurrences related to stampedes.

“We hope the Tinubu administration can make life more abundant for all by prioritising and accelerating Nigeria’s political and economic development, with better, people-conscious economic reforms and fair and just political restructuring,” Afenifere said.

Similarly, Chidi Odinkalu, a former chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, said Tinubu can’t champion the devolution of more powers to the federating units because it will threaten the powers enjoyed by the federal government.

Odinkalu was a guest on “Inside Sources with Laolu Akande,” a socio-political program aired on Channels Television.
