Turkish Cup: Nwakaeme on target as Trabzonspor cruise past Alanyaspor

Nigeria forward Anthony Nwakaeme was on target as Trabzonspor recorded a 3-0 victory over Alanyaspor in a Turkish Cup clash on Wednesday night.

Nwakaeme started the game on the bench and took the place of Ozan Tufan after the break.

The experienced striker scored Trabzonspor’s third goal of the game in the 69th minute.

The 35-year-old has now netted two goals in 15 appearances across all competitions for the Black Sea Storm this season.

Nwakaeme rejoined Trabzonspor last summer after a two-year stint in Saudi Arabia.

He has, however, been battling with injuries since his return to the club.
