EPL: Ndidi not fit for action yet – Leicester boss, Van Nistelrooy

Leicester City manager, Ruud van Nistelrooy is inching closer to a return to action following his injury layoff.

Ndidi has been sidelined since sustaining an injury in Leicester City’s 2-2 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion on December 8.

Van Nistelrooy revealed that the Nigeria international is yet to return to team training.

“He’s continuing his individual training,” the Dutchman was quoted by the club’s official website.

“He’s not yet with the team. He’s pushing harder on an individual basis. Hopefully we can welcome him to team training over coming weeks.”

Leicester City will host Queens Park Rangers in an Emirates FA Cup third round tie at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
