EPL: Obafemi Martins predicts what will happen to Osimhen at Man Utd

Former Super Eagles striker Obafemi Martins has backed Victor Osimhen to make a potential move to Manchester United.

Osimhen was linked with several top clubs in Europe, including United, following his explosive year with Napoli, where he scored 31 goals to help them secure their first Serie A title in 33 years.

However, the 26-year-old fell out with the Italian club and new manager, Antonio Conte.

This led to Osimhen joining Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal.

Osimhen is still expected to leave Napoli this year after he signed a new contract with a release clause of £63 million.

In an interview with AfricaFoot, Martins expressed confidence in Osimhen’s ability to transform United’s attacking prowess if a transfer materialises.

“If he comes into this team, everything changes, especially in terms of the way they score goals,” Martins said.

“He has speed and power, but also finishing. He is one of the best finishers in Europe, and he has proven it in successive seasons.”
