LaLiga: Real Madrid’s Rodrygo warns Barcelona ahead of Supercopa final clash

Real Madrid winger, Rodrygo has warned Barcelona, inaisting that the LaLiga title holders are prepared to face the Catalan giants in their upcoming Supercopa de Espana showdown in the final.

Barcelona and Real Madrid now have a date at the King Abdullah Sports City on Sunday.

Barcelona beat Athletic Club 2-0 earlier this week to book a place in the final. Meanwhile, Real Madrid defeated Mallorca 3-0 to book their spot in the final.

Los Blancos will be aiming to claim a third trophy of the season having already won the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Intercontinental Cup.

However, Barcelona had already beaten Carlo Ancelotti’s men 4-0 right in front of their fans at the Santiago Bernabeu in the La Liga last time they faced each other in October 2024.

Following their win on his 24th birthday, Rodrygo told reporters as quoted by beIN Sports:

“It will be a difficult match, as always against Barcelona, but we are prepared. We are in good form, and we want to win the first title of 2025.”
