The Abia State Harmonised Task Force has engaged in a strategic combined operation to curb the menace of road misuse and the destruction of government properties in different parts of Aba.
During the operation, various items belonging to the occupants, including motorcycles, batteries, power generators, drill machines, tyres, and other equipment, were confiscated by the task force team led by Uche Wogu.
The operation, which was executed at Hiace Park by Factory Road Level Crossing, Osisioma Junction, Uratta Road by the PH Motorway, Ariaria Junction, Alaoji, Ariaria Market 1st and 2nd gates, Samek Junction, and Jubilee Road, was also used to chase illegal traders.
Some of the defaulters were arrested by the task force, while other traders were apprehended for attempting to assault the team.
