Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has reportedly urged the club’s hierarchy to pursue Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford during the upcoming January transfer window. Rashford has recently fallen out of favor at Manchester United under manager Ruben Amorim, having not featured in the team’s last seven matches across all competitions.
According to the Spanish outlet SPORT, Flick is personally advocating for the addition of the 27-year-old to his Barcelona squad this January. The German manager is keen to sign Rashford due to his versatility as both a winger and a striker.
However, Barcelona is likely to face competition from AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, and Napoli for Rashford’s signature. Throughout his career, Rashford has not played in any league outside of the English top flight, making it intriguing to consider how he would adapt to football outside of England. Notably, Rashford has already expressed his desire for a new challenge in his career.
