Transfer: Flick wants Barcelona to sign Man Utd star

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has reportedly urged the club’s hierarchy to make a move for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford during this January transfer window.
Rashford has fallen out of favour at Manchester United under manager Ruben Amorim.

The England international has not featured in United’s last seven matches across all competitions.

According to Spanish outlet SPORT, Flick is personally pushing to add the 27-year-old to his Barcelona squad this January.

The German is eager to sign Rashford, as the player is proficient both as a winger and a striker.

Barcelona are likely to face competition from AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, and Napoli for Rashford’s signature.

Rashford has not played in any league outside the English top flight during his career so far.

However, it will be interesting to see how the Englishman adapts to football outside England.

Rashford has already expressed his desire for a new challenge in his career.
