Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has advised his teammate Ronald Araujo to remain at the club following their recent victory in the Spanish Super Cup against Real Madrid. Araujo has been linked with potential moves to Arsenal and Juventus during the January transfer window, raising questions about his future at Barcelona.
The Uruguayan defender has only 18 months left on his current contract with the club. Despite this uncertainty, Lewandowski is keen for Araujo to stay at Barcelona beyond this month. He expressed his thoughts directly to Araujo, stating, “Ronald… you have to stay,” as reported by the Spanish football show El Dia Despues.
Lewandowski further emphasized his point by saying, “You are staying, you are staying now, new contract. You can play around at the end of the season. It’s better for you to play now. You play here.”
