EPL: Mikel Arteta rates Arsenal’s title chances after 2-1 win over Tottenham

Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta has insisted that the Gunners are still in the Premier League title race this season.

Arteta spoke following Arsenal’s Premier League 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday.

According to him, there is so much to play because this season’s Premier League title race is difficult for every team.

Recall that an own-goal from Dominic Solanke and a goal from Leandro Trossard gave Arsenal the win over Tottenham at Emirates Stadium.

The win over Spurs means Arteta’s side are now four points behind leaders Liverpool. The Reds, meanwhile, have a game in hand.

Asked if Arsenal are in the title race, Arteta said at his post-match interview:

“We are because there’s so much to play for, and we can see how difficult it is for every team to win.”

Arsenal’s next Premier League match is against Aston Villa on Saturday.
