Transfer: Trent Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid ‘a done deal’

Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool to Real Madrid is “a done deal”, according to Marca.

The LaLiga champions are now set to decide if they want to make it a winter or summer transfer.

Alexander-Arnold’s future at Anfield has been the subject of intense speculation in recent weeks.

The 26-year-old defender alongside Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah are out of contract at the end of the season.

This means the trio are eligible to begin negotiations with foreign clubs this month.

Alexander-Arnold has been heavily linked with Real, who reportedly had a £20million bid rejected earlier in the window.

Because it is believed he has already verbally agreed to a move to the Bernabeu. It’s just a matter of when the transfer will come.

Alexander-Arnold will be able to join Los Blancos for free should he wait to until the summer, but the Spanish side remain keen on bringing him in during January.

Madrid will also chase a move for Bayern Munich full-back Alphonso Davies.
