NWFL: Ekiti Queens suspend team manager over unethical conduct

Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, side, Ekiti Queens have suspended their team manager, Moji Adekanye indefinitely.

Adekanye was alleged to have been involved in an unethical conduct against the club.

The suspension was announced in a statement by the Technical Advisor to the State Governor on Sports Development, Olusola Osetoba.

According to the statement, the suspension takes immediate effect, with a disciplinary committee set up to investigate the matter.

Osetoba emphasised that the club remains committed to upholding integrity, professionalism, and sportsmanship, stating that indiscipline from the technical crew would not be tolerated.

Ekiti Queens opened their 2025 NWFL campaign with a 1-0 win over Heartland Queens.
