CAF Confederation Cup: Enyimba ready for ‘tough’ Zamalek clash – Ovoke

Enyimba forward, Benard Ovoke, said the team is highly motivated for their CAF Confederation Cup clash against Egyptian giants, Zamalek.

Ovoke stated that the Peoples Elephant management have given the team the needed backing to record victory in the game.

Enyimba will battle with the Zamalek at the Cairo International Stadium on Sunday(today).

“As we take on Zamalek today in our final group game in the CAF Confederation Cup, We need your full support because we believe as a team that we can scale through to the quarter finals,” Ovoke wrote on X.

“The Legend Papilo Kanu Nwankwo has given us the motivation we need and we are ready for the big game today.”

Stanley Eguma’s side occupy third position on the table with five points.

Zamalek and Al-Masry occupy first and second position respectively while Mozambican side Black Bulls remain at the bottom of the table.
