Barcelona midfielder Pedri has admitted that Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are the favourites to win LaLiga this season.
Pedri was reacting to his side’s 1-1 draw with Getafe on Saturday.
The result has extended the Catalans’ winless run in the league, as they have failed to register a league victory in their last four matches.
Barca had taken the lead through Jules Kounde’s strike but were pegged back by Mauro Arambarri’s equaliser before the break.
They are now third in the table, seven points behind rivals Real.
Pedri has effectively ruled Barcelona out of the title race.
He told reporters: “We probably have to be perfect and win all the remaining games to be able to recover in La Liga.
“It’s always difficult to play against Getafe. They defend with a low block. It’s complicated. But, we should have defended our lead better.”
