Transfer: Three English clubs in race to sign Willian

Former Chelsea and Arsenal midfielder, Willian, has flown back to the UK.

The Brazilian is now assessing offers from three English clubs, as he is set to make a decision on his future.

Willian is now a free agent after his contract with Olympiacos was terminated.

This was revealed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, via his X account on Thursday.

Romano wrote: “Willian has just arrived in London to meet with his agents and assess options with more than 3 English clubs keen on signing him immediately.

“He’s available as free agent after leaving Olympiacos, ready for new chapter.”

The 36-year-old made just three starts in his 11 appearances during his time in Greece.

Willian spent last season at Fulham, where he made 31 Premier League appearances, scored four goals and provided two assists.

He left Craven Cottage as he could not agree terms on a new contract.

However, he has struggled for game time since leaving West London and has suffered with injury issues, raising concerns about his fitness.
