EPL: Maresca gives team news ahead Chelsea vs Man City clash

Chelsea boss, Enzo Maresca has provided the latest team update ahead of his side’s Premier League tie with Manchester City on Saturday.

Maresca’s side head to the game following a 3-1 win over Wolves in their last Premier League game.

Man City, meanwhile, head to the game following a 6-0 win against Ipswich Town.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday, Maresca said
both Levi Colwill and Enzo Fernandez ‘could be ready’ to face Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

But Romeo Lavia will miss the Premier League clash against his former club.

The three players were all absent on Monday evening as the Blues defeated Wolves at Stamford Bridge.

“Probably Levi and Enzo could be ready [to feature against Man City],” Maresca told reporters. “It depends on today’s session.”

Maresca also provided an update on Cole Palmer, who was a doubt to face Pep Guardiola’s side.

“He is better,” Maresca added.

“He did an unbelievable effort to play against Wolves and he is getting better.”
