EPL: Jackson, Madueke missed many chances – Maresca

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has counted many mistakes for his players, Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke.

Ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League clash with defending champions Man City, the Italian addressed the press on Friday afternoon.

Chelsea fans are frustrated with the way their frontman, Jackson has wasted so many opportunities this season.

For Madueke, the England international has also failed to deliver perfect crosses to the box on several occasions.

Journalists at the press briefing enquired to know if the Blues are planning on getting a new goalkeeper with Robert Sanchez showing lack of confidence between the sticks.

Some fans are of the opinion that Sanchez has cost the Blues a lot of points this season with Jackson also missing a lot of chances.

“I fully trust Robert Sanchez. How many times has Caicedo missed a pass? Many times. How many times has Nico missed a goal? Many times,” Maresca said.

“How many times has Noni missed a cross? Many times. Robert has made four mistakes.”
