NWFL: Bayelsa Queens coach Ogbonda reveals target for new season

Bayelsa Queens head coach Whyte Ogbonda has revealed his goal for the 2025 season of the Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL.

Ogbonda stated that the target is to qualify for the Championship playoffs and also win the trophy.

“Football is about scoring goals, so I am in support of an attacking style,”Ogbonda told Sportsregister.

“I know the expectations of Bayelsans and I will work diligently with my assistants towards the goal of qualifying the Prosperity Girls for the Super Six and winning the trophy.”

Bayelsa Queens have recorded one win and a draw from their opening two fixtures of the season against Delta Queens and Ibom Angels.

They occupy third position on the NWFL table with four points.
