Bundesliga: Orban relishes maiden Hoffenheim goal

Nigeria forward Gift Orban has celebrated his first goal for Bundesliga outfit TSG Hoffenheim, Media Talk Africa reports.

Orban opened his account for Christian Ilzer’s side in their 2-2 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt at the PreZero Arena on Sunday.

The striker replaced Max Moerstedt in the 63rd minute and scored Hoffenheim’s first goal of the match two minutes later.

The 22-year-old took to social media to express his delight.

“Good performance from the team, happy to score my first goal for this wonderful club @tsghoffenheim,” he wrote on X.

Media Talk Africa recalls that the Nigerian joined the club, nicknamed “The Village Club,” from Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyon earlier this month.
