EPL: Don’t do it – Gary Neville kicks against Man Utd swapping two players with Chelsea

Manchester United legend, Gary Neville has advised his old club not to consider a swap deal with Chelsea, involving Alejandro Garnacho and Christopher Nkunku.

Man United are said to have asked Chelsea about Nkunku’s situation.

The Red Devils are open to selling Garnacho and could swap the Argentina international for Nkunku this January transfer window.

Both Garnacho and Nkunku have not featured regularly for their respective clubs so far this season.

As a result, they have been linked with a loan move this month.

“I don’t get it for United, “Neville told NBC Sports when asked about the potential swap involving both players.

“Nkunku’s hardly kicked a ball, he obviously had the injury when he first came in but he’s struggled to get going at Chelsea.

“I’m not saying Garnacho is the best player in the world and that he needs to stay at Manchester United. If they get good money for him then okay that might work.”

He added, “But to swap him for Nkunku, I have to say that doesn’t feel like I move I would do if I was Manchester United.”
