Kwara United technical adviser, Tunde Sanni believes that the victory over Enyimba is a big statement from his team.
The Harmony Boys defeated Enyimba 2-0 in a rescheduled matchday 16 fixture in Ilorin on Monday.
Sanni stated that his team was capable of maintaining their form in the remaining fixtures in the league.
“If we can beat a team that represented Nigeria in the CAF competition, it shows our strength,” Sanni stated in a post-match interview.
“We are not an ordinary team.”
Kwara United moved up to 13th position on the league table with 23 points.
They will lock horns with Niger Tornadoes in their next league game.
