UCL: Barcelona coach, Flick speaks on Lookman’s injury

Barcelona manager, Hansi Flick, admitted that Atalanta will miss their talismanic winger, Ademola Lookman, in Wednesday’s (today) UEFA Champions League clash.

Lookman has been ruled out of the matchday eight encounter due to a knee injury.

Flick said it is never easy for any team to lose their star player, but he expects Gasperini’s side to adapt.

“Of course, when you lose an important player, it’s not easy. But I think Gasperini knows his team well,” he told a press conference.

“For me, I usually don’t focus on one or two players, but I always look at the team as a whole and its performances.”

Lookman has so far scored four goals and registered two assists in six appearances for Atalanta in the UEFA Champions League this season.
