NBA arrests another fake lawyer in Delta community

Members of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, led by David Omage, have apprehended another suspected fake lawyer, Godspower Ogoba.

Secretary, NBA, Udu Branch, Austin Nyekigbe, disclosed this in a statement sent to Media Talk Africa correspondent in Warri.

He noted that the suspect was apprehended on 29th January, 2025.

Nyekigbe said the suspect was apprehended in a business center at Ufuoma Street, Ovwian, while preparing a Deed using the name and seal of late Samson Ugbogbo, Esq and Jonathan E. Eguaveon, Esq, who is currently in the US.

“According to Godspower, he charged N5,000 for the Deed over a land of N5.5m.

“He has been handed over to the police and he is presently cooling off at the Ovwian Police Station,” he stated.

The suspect’s arrest is coming two weeks after another fake lawyer was caught in the same Ovwian, Udu Local Government Area.
