LaLiga: Cristiano Ronaldo hints at return to Real Madrid

Al Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted that he could make a sensational return to Real Madrid at the end of his career.

Ronaldo has admitted that the Santiago Bernabéu was his “happiest place.”

The Portugal captain joined Los Blancos from Manchester United in 2009 and went on to write his name in the club’s history books.

Ronaldo scored an astonishing 450 goals in just 438 appearances for Madrid over nine years and won 15 major trophies, including four Champions League titles.

When asked by Spanish journalist Eduardo Aguirre about the possibility of returning to Real Madrid, Ronaldo said: “Maybe after ending my career, something can happen.”

Reflecting on his time in Spain, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner described it as the peak of his professional journey.

“My period at Real Madrid is the happiest for me in terms of football,” he admitted, emphasising the special place the club holds in his heart.
