Lobi Stars technical adviser Daniel Amokachi has commended his players following their 1-1 draw with Akwa United.
Onyekachi Okafor’s goal put Lobi Stars in front before Friday Apollos equalised for Akwa United toward the end of the encounter.
Amokachi is optimistic that the team will continue to improve their performance in subsequent games.
“We’re getting it right,” Amokachi stated in a post-match interview.
“We didn’t let our loss in Owerri affect us. We will rise and get back to winning ways.”
Lobi Stars remain in the relegation zone despite the result.
