NPFL: Tornadoes coach Mohammed sure of victory against Plateau United

Niger Tornadoes technical adviser Majin Mohammed is optimistic his side will overcome Plateau United in their North Central derby on Sunday.

The Ikon Allah Boys will look to return to winning ways after losing 2-0 against Nasarawa United in midweek.

Plateau United are in relegation fight and are expected to make things difficult for their hosts.

Mohammed reckoned Mbwas Mangut’s side will be a tough nut to crack but declared his players will do their best to secure maximum points.

“We’re aware of the difficulties, but we’re prepared. We know Plateau United will come with the mentality of getting a result, especially after we picked three points in Jos during the first round. However, we’re ready for them,” he told the club’s media.

“Anywhere we go to play our matches, we believe we’ll get our results. We’re not afraid to play anywhere, and we feel at home wherever we are.”
