UCL: It’s always nightmare playing against Guardiola’s team – Ancelotti

Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that it is always a nightmare playing against Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola’s team.

Ancelotti spoke at his pre-match press conference ahead of Real Madrid’s Champions League playoffs first leg tie with Man City on Tuesday night at Etihad Stadium.

According to him, Guardiola always tried to use new tactics and innovations in football.

“It’s always a nightmare when you play against Pep Guardiola’s teams,” Ancelotti said.

“Pep has always tried to use new tactics and innovations in football.

“I respect him a lot, he’s one of the best if not the best”.

Ancelotti had hailed Guardiola as the ‘best coach in the UEFA Champions League’ competition ahead of both teams’ clash in the playoffs.

Media Talk Africa reports that the winner of the two-leg fixtures between Madrid and City will progress to the Champions League Round of 16.
