EPL: Paul Merson predicts Brighton vs Chelsea, Man City vs Newcastle, other fixtures

Arsenal legend, Paul Merson, has predicted the week 25 Premier League fixtures.

Making his predictions on Thursday, Merson felt that league leaders, Liverpool deserved a win in their last game against Everton.

According to him, the league would have been over had the Reds held on for a few more seconds and got the win over their city rivals Everton.

Liverpool watched their bitter rivals pull a point out of the fire at Goodison Park in a game filled with controversies.

It promises to be another intriguing weekend of football in the Premier League and the Englishman has again dropped his predictions.

Leicester City 1-3 Arsenal
West Ham United 2-1 Brentford
Southampton 1-4 Bournemouth
Aston Villa 3-0 Ipswich Town
Manchester City 1-2 Newcastle United
Fulham 2-1 Nottingham Forest
Crystal Palace 2-0 Everton

Liverpool 2-1 Wolves

Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Manchester United

Liverpool maintain their lead in the Premier League table followed by Arsenal and Nottingham Forest. Liverpools will not lose their position at the even if they suffer a shock defeat to Wolves this weekend.

The Reds are 7 points ahead of Arsenal and 10 points above Nottingham Forest in third place. Chelsea are fourth but could lose the position if they happen to lose to Brighton and Manchester City beat Newcastle United.
