Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has expressed confidence that the Red Devils will win the Premier League title by 2028.
Man United last won the Premier League in the 2012/13 season under Sir Alex Ferguson.
They have failed to win the English top-flight title for over a decade.
This season, Amorim’s side currently sit 13th in the Premier League table after 24 games.
Man United will face Tottenham Hotspur in an away Premier League clash on Sunday.
When asked whether Man United can win the Premier League by 2028, Amorim said (via Fabrizio Romano):
“Yes, we talk about that. Our focus is to win the Premier League, and we can change everything in a few years.
“At this moment, we are in a difficult position, but we need to work every day on the little steps.”
Amorim joined Man United after leaving Sporting CP last year.
It remains to be seen whether the Portuguese manager can win a trophy for United this season.
