They were treated badly by sleepy Joe – Trump wants company building Keystone XL Pipeline back

President Donald Trump on Monday night said he is planning to bring back company building the Keystone XL Pipeline, saying the company needs to “come back to America, and get the oil pipeline built.

The pipeline meant to bring oil from Canada’s Western tar sands to the United States refiners was first proposed in 2008.

It was, however, halted in 2021 by the immediate past administration led by the erstwhile president, Joe Biden.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump revealed he was “just thinking” about how construction on the pipeline was jettisoned by the previous administration.

The president said his administration “is very different”, stressing that he wants the Keystone XL Pipeline built.

“I know they were treated very badly by Sleepy Joe Biden, but the Trump Administration is very different — Easy approvals, almost immediate start! If not them, perhaps another Pipeline Company. We want the Keystone XL Pipeline built”, he added.
