Dwight Yorke hands Man Utd striker to sign

Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke has urged the club to sign Liverpool’s Darwin Núñez, who is expected to leave the Reds in the summer.

According to Yorke, the Uruguay international is still only 25 years old, and Manchester United are unlikely to secure Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak.

“I would be brave and take a look at Darwin Núñez if Liverpool make him available,” Yorke told CasinoBeats when asked who Manchester United should consider signing.

“He’s got a little roughness around the edges. United need somebody up there who can be the top man – they’re missing a player who has that belief and confidence.

“Who has that swagger to be the main man at Manchester United.

“I would take a punt on that guy. He’s still 25. He’s got a physical presence that not too many people have.

“You’re not going to get Isak. He would look at Manchester United and might consider it if they come in, but he’ll want to go to Liverpool or maybe Arsenal. But if Liverpool want you, with what’s happening there, it’s an easy choice to make.”

Núñez joined Liverpool from Portuguese club Benfica in 2022.
