NWFL: Edo Queens declare Folorunsho missing

Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, champions, Edo Queens, have declared Comfort Folorunsho Absent Without Official Leave, AWOL.

Edo Queens made the declaration in a statement on Thursday.

The Benin City club said Folorunsho packed her belongings and left without informing the management, despite having a running contract with them.

Edo Queens warned other clubs not to engage her services without due clearance from them.

The management expressed willingness to release her to any interested club in an orderly and professional manner.

“The said player still has a running contract with Edo Queens FC, hence she has no right to leave without officially informing the club of her whereabouts,” Edo Queens stated.

“This notice is to warn clubs not to engage her services without due clearance from Edo Queens FC.”
