The Osun State chairman of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Mr. Adewale Adebayo, has instructed party members to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, in the 2023 general elections. In a statement obtained in Osogbo on Saturday, Adebayo explained that this decision aims to ensure the election of the most suitable candidate to govern the country. He expressed confidence in Tinubu’s quality and competence, asserting that the APC flag bearer is capable of leading Nigeria to greater heights.

Adebayo emphasized that while the party will back Tinubu for president, its candidates for other elective positions remain in the race. “We are convinced by his manifesto. It shows that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu really means well for Nigeria and Nigerians. No one can doubt his competence, capability, and capacity to govern the country, especially at this critical time when our nation needs an informed, educated, and highly intellectual political leader who understands the challenges citizens face,” he said. He added, “We are giving our word today that we will vote massively for Tinubu and ensure his emergence. We have strong belief in his manifesto, which was painstakingly designed to rekindle our hope and build the new Nigeria of our dreams.”

Former Osun State Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, who received APM members at the Tinubu/Shettima campaign office in Osogbo, praised their decision to endorse Tinubu, describing him as “the best of the best.”
