If we don’t win EPL title, I’ll blame you – What Arne Slot told referee Michael Oliver

The exchange between Liverpool manager Arne Slot and referee Michael Oliver following a 2-2 draw at Everton has been revealed.

According to Mail Sport, Slot told referee Michael Oliver, “I’ll f**ing blame you”* if his team doesn’t go on to win the Premier League title.

The Reds boss has since been handed a two-match ban and a £70,000 fine over his outburst.

The Football Association (FA) has now published details of what exactly Slot said to Oliver after the final whistle at Goodison Park.

“If we don’t win the league, I’ll f**ing blame you,”* an independent FA commission determined Slot said to Oliver as the pair shook hands.

Slot claims he actually said, “If we don’t win the league, I will have you to thank for that,” but the Dutchman did not challenge the accusation that he called the assistant referee a “f**king disgrace.”

Liverpool are currently 13 points clear at the top of the table and are strong favorites to win the title ahead of Arsenal.
