EPL: Fulham focused on Brighton clash — Bassey

Calvin Bassey has urged his Fulham teammates to keep their feet on the ground ahead of this weekend’s Premier League clash with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Marco Silva’s men will be away to Brighton on Saturday.

Fulham, who are pushing for a place in Europe, currently occupy ninth position in the table.

Bassey declared that they must be at their best against their in-form opponent.

“We know how good Brighton are. There’s no easy game in this league, and they’re another team with a lot of quality, so we have to make sure we’re locked in for that one,” the Nigeria international told the club’s official website.

The London club head into the game in confident mood having eliminated Manchester United in the Emirates FA Cup last week.

Bassey said they have put the game behind them and are focused on the task ahead.

“We’ve had our days to celebrate, but now it’s back to work and make sure we are focused on the game on Saturday,” he added.
