EPL: Aina set for 50th Nottingham Forest appearance

Ola Aina will look to make his 50th Premier League appearance for Nottingham Forest when they host Manchester City at the City Ground on Saturday (today).

Aina linked up with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side on a free transfer in 2023.

In his first season at the club, the defender chalked up 22 league appearances and netted once.

The Nigeria international has made 27 league appearances for the Tricky Trees this season with two goals to his name.

The 28-year-old is expected to be named in the starting X1 for the clash with Pep Guardiola’s men.

His international teammate, Taiwo Awoniyi is also in line to feature in the game.

Forest and Manchester City are battling for a place in next season’s UEFA Champions League.
