I have discovered real player for Man United – Amorim announces after 1-1 draw with Arsenal

Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, has said that he has discovered a real player for the club.

The ‘real player’ discovered by the Portuguese is none other than teenage star, Ayden Heaven who made his Premier League debut in the Red Devils’ 1-1 draw with Premier League rivals Arsenal on Sunday.

Amorim lauded the youngster’s display, claiming that a ‘real’ player has been unearthed.

Heaven moved to Old Trafford from Arsenal’s under-21 side in the January transfer window for a reported £1.5 million fee.

The 18-year-old immediately became part of the first team at Old Trafford, playing his first game for them in the Red Devils’ fifth round FA Cup defeat to Fulham (1-1, 4-5 on penalties).

Against his former club on Sunday, Heaven came on as a half-time substitute for French defender Leny Yoro.

The former Arsenal man was so composed and allowed no opposition player to dribble past him. He garnered praise from fans and media at full-time.

Amorim was also greatly impressed by his performance and hailed the young defender in his post-match interview.

Amorim said, “Ayden Heaven is so calm, so relaxed, he doesn’t feel the pressure. I believe we have found a REAL player.”

The former Sporting CP boss further confirmed the reason behind Heaven’s Premier League debut.

He said that Leny Yoro sustained a foot injury in the first half.

The 40-year-old claimed, “Leny has something in his foot. We will see if he is available for Thursday.”
