Flying Eagles to camp in Katsina for U-20 AFCON

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will set up camp in Katsina for the final phase of their preparations for the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

According to SCORENigeria, the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has secured sponsorship from the Katsina State Government for the training camp.

The Flying Eagles are expected to regroup this week after they were granted a short break last week.

Aliyu Zubairu’s side engaged in two friendlies against Cote d’Ivoire late last month.

The seven-time African champions won the friendly 2-0, and lost the second by the same scoreline.

The Flying Eagles will face Egypt, Morocco and South Africa in Group B at the U-20 AFCON.

The biennial competition will be staged in Cote d’Ivoire from April 26 to May 18.
