Niger Tornadoes technical adviser, Majin Mohammed has admitted that his team’s narrow victory over Katsina United in a matchday 28 encounter was difficult.
Williams Sunday’s volley earned Niger Tornadoes 1-0 victory at the Lafia City Stadium on Friday.
It was the Ikon Allah Boys first win at their makeshift home ground.
Mohammed stated that his team will build on the win in subsequent games.
Media Talk Africa reports that the victory was Niger Tornadoes first win in Lafia.
“It was a difficult game but the most important thing is the victory which we were able to achieve,” Mohammed told Niger Tornadoes media.
“We lost our first game here and we won the second here in Lafia, we will build on the victory and gradually get use to the pitch and possibly by next game we will win with more goals.”
