Nigeria National League, NNL, side Yobe Desert Stars have bolstered their squad with eight new players for the second stanza of the season.
The newly signed players are Obinna Uku, Iweswem Oryiman Emmy, Obinna Olawale, Kanam Peter, Mubarakh Usman, Usman Umar, Cephas Kajang Usman, and Obi Success.
Yobe Desert Stars FC have set their sights on securing a championship playoff spot at the end of the season.
They currently sit at the top of the NNL Group D table with 11 points.
Yobe Desert Stars will face Kebbi United in their opening fixture of the second stanza.
The match will be played at the FIFA Goal Project in Birnin Kebbi.
