2026 WCQ: Snubbed Ejuke backs Super Eagles to soar above Rwanda, Zimbabwe games

Sevilla winger, Chidera Ejuke has backed the Super Eagles to pick maximum points against in Rwanda and Zimbabwe despite been overlooked for the World Cup qualifiers.

Ejuke was left out of the 23-man squad released by head coach Eric Chelle this week.

The 27-year-old has been in fantastic form for Sevilla since returning from injury.

The pacy winger believed that Super Eagles have the quality to win both games.

“We have a lot of players in Nigeria, and believe me, at the end of the day it’s the coach’s decision, and he knows what he’s doing,” he told Lacolina de Nervion

“So, for me, if I get the opportunity to go there, I’ll always be happy to represent my country. I wish the boys the best and, obviously, I’ll be watching as well, and I hope they win the matches.”

The Super Eagles will face Rwanda in Kigali on Friday, March 21, and host Zimbabwe four days later in Uyo.
