2026 WCQ: Super Eagles Kigali camp bubbles with 22 players

Twenty-two players are now in the Super Eagles Radisson Blu Hotel camp in Kigali ahead of Friday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Rwanda.

Media Talk Africa reports that 12 players reported for duty on the first day of camping on Monday.

The 12 players are joined by nine others on Tuesday morning.

They are captain William Troost-Ekong, Wilfred Ndidi, Calvin Bassey and Ademola Lookman.

Others are Joe Aribo, Igoh Ogbu, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Ola Aina and Alex Iwobi.

However, one more player, Valencia forward, Sadiq Umar just arrived to join the rest of his teammates.

The total number of players now in the Super Eagles camp is 22.

One more player is still being expected in camp later today.

The Super Eagles will have their first official training session later on Tuesday night.

They currently sit in 5th position in the World Cup qualifier group C and are yet to win a game in the qualifying series.
