2026 WCQ: Troost-Ekong ready for battle against Rwanda

Super Eagles captain, William Troost-Ekong is set for battle the Amavubi of Rwanda, Media Talk Africa reports.

The centre-back breezed into the Super Eagles camp on Tuesday morning.

The 31-year-old took to social media to declare his readiness for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matchday five encounter.

“TOUCHDOWN, LETS GET TO WORK,” Troost-Ekong wrote on X.

The Al Kholood of Saudi Arabia defender is in line to make 77th appearance for the Super Eagles against Rwanda.

Rwanda will host the Super Eagles at the Amahoro Stadium, Kigali on Friday.
