Controversial British broadcaster, Piers Morgan has slammed former United States international Megan Rapinoe for calling President Donald Trump ‘depraved.’
Rapinoe had criticized Trump’s executive order effectively banning trans athletes from women’s sports at public institutions.
Speaking with soccer publication, MUNDIAL, the 39-years-old branded Trump’s order as cruel and depraved.
Reacting, Morgan, in a tweet via his X account on Monday, labelled Rapinoe as a ‘fraud’.
‘Imagine thinking that anyone who questions biological men playing in women’s sport is ‘’depraved,”’ Morgan wrote on X alongside a string of laughing emojis.
“Rapinoe is such a fraud,” he added.
Trump had signed executive orders requiring the federal government to recognize only two genders. One of the orders is titled ‘Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports’.
