Barcelona winger, Lamine Yamal, has claimed they are the favourites to win the Champions League title this year, following the elimination of Liverpool.
Arne Slot’s men are out of the competition despite winning the first leg of their last-16 clash with Paris Saint-Germain in France.
The Reds lost 1-0 at Anfield in the return leg and saw the Ligue 1 champions triumph in the ensuing penalty shoot-out.
However, Barca saw off Benfica over two legs, to book their place in the quarter-final against Borussia Dortmund.
Yamal has now said they are not afraid of the remaining teams in the competition.
“We are favorites to win the Champions League now that Liverpool are out of the competition.
“We are not afraid of any team, we are a family… and we’re not the same as one year ago against PSG,” Yamal told SPORT.
