NWFL: Nasarawa Amazons coach underlines ambition ahead second stanza kick-off

Nasarawa Amazons head coach, Christopher Danjuma, has restated the team’s target of qualifying for the Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, playoff.

Danjuma stated that to achieve this feat, the team needs to kick-start the second stanza on a positive note.

However, he admitted that his team struggled in their away matches during the first half of the season.

Nasarawa Amazons will lock horns with Group A table leaders, Remo Stars Ladies, at the Lafia City Stadium on Wednesday (today).

“Our target is to qualify for the championship playoffs, and we will take it from there,” Danjuma told Nasarawa Amazons media.

“Our first round was not so good, especially with our away matches. We want to capitalize on our home games and ensure we win convincingly.

“All our focus now is to take three points from the game against Remo Stars Ladies here in Lafia.”
