Rwanda vs Nigeria: Tolu Arokodare reveals how Super Eagles will approach WCQ

Super Eagles forward, Tolu Arokodare has revealed that Eric Chelle’s side will go into their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Rwanda with the intention of playing their football.

According to the KRC Genk star, the Super Eagles will not try to listen to outsiders and will try to focus on themselves against Rwanda.

Speaking to Nigerian reporters in Kigali ahead of the game, Arokodare said, “We are just staying calm without putting ourselves under any pressure.

“We are going to go to the game and play our football and hopefully get the win.

“We are not trying to listen to outsiders, we are trying to focus on ourselves.”

Arokodare has scored 17 goals and provided five assists in 30 Belgian Pro League games for Genk.

The 24-year-old will hope to make his debut the Super Eagles against Rwanda on Friday evening.

He has since expressed happiness for his maiden invitation to the national team.
