2026 WCQ: Chelle craves winning start with Super Eagles

Malian tactician, Eric Chelle is targeting a winning start to his reign as head coach of the Super Eagles, Media Talk Africa reports

The Super Eagles will be in action against the Amavubi of Rwanda on Friday (today).

The 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matchday five encounter will hold at the Amahoro Stadium, Kigali.

It will be Chelle’s first game in charge of the Super Eagles following his appointment in January.

The 47-year-old had only three training sessions with his players ahead of the crucial encounter.

The Super Eagles are still without a win a Group C after four matches.

They occupy fifth position in the group with three points.
