Super Eagles players celebrate win over Rwanda in dressing room [VIDEO]

Super Eagles players celebrated their 2-0 victory over Rwanda in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier by dancing in the dressing room at the Amahoro Stadium on Friday.

In a trending video sighted by Media Talk Africa on social media platform X, Samuel Chukwueze, Ola Aina, William Troost-Ekong, and Alex Iwobi were seen dancing to a Nigerian song in the dressing room, expressing their joy over the outcome of the match against Rwanda.

Media Talk Africa reports that a first-half brace from Victor Osimhen secured all three points for Eric Chelle’s men in Kigali.

Osimhen opened the scoring for Nigeria with a side-footed finish from Ademola Lookman’s free-kick. The Galatasaray forward then doubled his side’s advantage after winning the ball on the halfway line and slotting it past the goalkeeper.

The result against Rwanda means the Super Eagles are now in fourth position in Group C, following South Africa’s 2-0 win against Lesotho on Friday.

The Super Eagles will now face Zimbabwe on Tuesday at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.
